About

I am Elisa Lopez, a Music Industry professional who enjoys keeping up with current industry news and trends. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, I always knew that I wanted to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. As a child, through my love of film, I quickly developed a fascination with soundtracks and original scores. My passion for film music only deepened as I developed into a distinguished musician during my teenage years. Today, my extensive music background as a classically trained flautist for over thirteen years has greatly influenced the development of my natural ear for music in visual media.

Now, whether I am hunting down the next indie rock sensation, catching a matinée at the local movie theater, purchasing the latest soundtrack, or backing up my TiVo with my favorite guilty pleasure TV shows, music is a constant part of my life. It is a love affair that led me to major in Interactive Media with concentrations in Music Business and Audio for Visual Media in college.

Throughout my college education, I’ve had the privilege of working as a Music Clearance Intern at the prestigious “Dick Clark Productions” in Santa Monica, California. I was also given the opportunity to work at the notable “Mighty Generation Music” in West Hollywood, California as a Music Publishing and Licensing Intern. Through both internships, I was able to experience firsthand the exciting and meticulous process of clearing and licensing music for TV shows and researching current music trends and artists to pitch to Music Supervisors.

I greatly anticipate seeing what the film music industry has in store for me in the future, and I am honored to be a part of such an incredible aspect of the entertainment industry.
